Celebrating Calgary Stampede 2025 at Bow River Dental Centre Cochrane

On July 4th, 2025, we were proud to bring a little extra Stampede spirit to the heart of Cochrane with a community BBQ hosted right outside Bow River Dental Centre. As part of the broader Calgary Stampede 2025 celebrations, our goal was simple: to thank our patients, neighbours, and friends with food, fun, and great local music.

A Cochrane Community Event to Remember

From the moment the grills fired up, the energy was unmistakable. Families, friends, and neighbours came out in full force to enjoy a classic Stampede-style BBQ lunch—complete with burgers, hot dogs, chips, and cold drinks. In true community spirit, we were thrilled to serve over 1,500 people throughout the afternoon.

The courtyard outside Bow River Dental Centre was filled with laughter, sidewalk chalk drawings, and the sound of live music performed by an amazing local Cochrane band. Kids danced in cowboy boots, parents mingled under shaded tents, and the shared joy was a clear reflection of what makes Cochrane such a special place to call home.

Honoured with Stampede Spirit Recognition

One of the most meaningful moments of the day came when a representative from the Calgary Stampede stopped by to present us with a Stampede Spirit Recognition 2025 sign. This special gesture was given in appreciation of our efforts to celebrate western heritage and strengthen community ties during Stampede Week.

We were deeply honoured to receive this recognition. As a locally owned clinic in Cochrane, we believe in giving back—not just through dental care, but through moments that bring people together. The sign now proudly hangs inside Bow River Dental Centre, serving as a reminder of the values we share with our community.
