To ensure the safety of patients and staff, procedure changes have been enacted. We will be pre-screening patients for Covid-19 symptoms when booking appointments and on arrival in the office. Staff will be screened daily. We ask that patients come alone for dental visits or have a maximum of one caregiver. Please consider waiting in your vehicle until your appointment time instead of coming in early.
We will be asking everyone entering the office to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer. A pre-procedural antiviral mouth rinse will be provided. It is now mandatory to wear a mask as per Town of Cochrane bylaw.
Unfortunately for the foreseeable future we have removed magazines and children’s toys in the reception area and the headphones in the dental treatment rooms. Please feel free to bring your own headphones; our dental chairs have standard 3.5mm jacks.
As an additional safety measure, Bow River Dental Centre has employed Surgically Clean Air units for the past few years. These units provide multi-stage air filtration including UV-C technology to neutralize bacteria and viruses.
