Extractions

Extractions are performed for a number of different reasons, but most commonly to remove teeth which are not restorable due to tooth decay, periodontal disease or dental trauma; especially when they are associated with toothache. Sometimes wisdom teeth are impacted and need to be removed, and if the teeth are crowded teeth may be extracted to create space so the rest of the teeth can be straightened. Following an extraction, your dentist will advise you of what post extraction regimen to follow for your benefit and comfort.
